What is a General Jural Assembly?

The General Jural Assembly of Illinois is a gathering of free and independent sovereign individuals who come together under the belief that their rights are God-given and predate any government. This assembly aims to restore and protect the original blessings of liberty as intended by the Founding Fathers. Rooted in foundational documents such as the Declaration of Independence (1776), Articles of Confederation (1781), and the Illinois Constitution (1818), this assembly claims the authority to govern Illinois as a free and independent nation-state.

It is a forum for reclaiming lawful governance based on Christian principles and natural law, emphasizing the sovereignty of the people over imposed statutory laws.

Educating and Preparing the Next Generation

The future of Illinois as a free and independent nation-state depends on educating and empowering the next generation to understand and uphold their God-given rights and responsibilities. Preparing our youth involves instilling a deep respect for the original constitutional principles that founded our state and nation, including the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the Illinois Constitution of 1818.

It means teaching them about sovereignty, liberty, and the sacred right to self-governance, rooted in Christian values and natural law. Equipping young people with this knowledge enables them to become informed, active participants in the Illinois General Jural Assembly and their communities. Through education, mentorship, and engagement, the next generation will carry forward the mission to protect liberty, promote justice, and sustain prosperity—ensuring that Illinois remains a land of freedom and opportunity for all who inhabit it.
